Frown lines, bunny lines, crow's feet, expression wrinkles and accordion lines are all names of wrinkles that are gifted to us as we grow maturely (note how I avoid using old age!). Wrinkles are creases, folds and lines formed on our skin. Sometimes they are aggravated with overexposure to UV that causes the breakdown of skin's connective tissues. Lifestyle choices such as excessive alcohol and smoking can contribute to elevated wrinkles showing up on our face.
I am sure everyone of us wants to erase or slow down wrinkles. Yes we can erase wrinkles with invasive procedures such as botox, laser skin resurfacing, dermal fillers, and many more. Or if you are like me, I prefer to embrace the lines formed around my eyes, forehead and mouth and go for slowing them down instead with a combination of topical hydrating products, facial massages (I love gua sha!), good night's sleep, avoiding excessive UV exposure and regular exercise. I am all for pro-aging and aging gracefully into old age.

After all, no one can turn back the clock and completely get rid of wrinkles. Instead of fighting it, why not embrace wrinkles and dance with it (doing a visual image of the lines dancing on our faces)!
