Our ingredients/products
As a small business, getting certifications are costly and not sustainable for us at the moment. Although we are not a certified vegan, organic or cruelty-free brand, we give our customers the assurance that our products are sourced from raw ingredients suppliers/manufacturers who have their ingredients certified vegan, organic (COSMOS, ACO, USDA) and no animal testings are conducted from beginning to finished products. Our suppliers have gone through our vetting system before we work with them.
Our ingredients are purchased through our source of global raw cosmetic ingredients suppliers/manufacturers. They are lab tested for safety and microbial count to be used in cosmetic products.
The core of our products are plant-based cosmetic ingredients. Naturally-derived ingredients and safe synthetics are incorporated for a well-formulated effective product.
Our products are specially formulated for our tropical climate to meet the needs of our customers.

We formulate for all skin types especially with sensitive skin in mind. We do our best to select ingredients that would have minimum irritation on your skin.
If you have severe sensitive skin, we would recommend seeing a dermatologist for skincare solutions.
Yes, our products are safe to be used during pregnancy and nursing.
Our Revive lip balm is suitable for children.
Our face, lip and body care products are suitable for children age 12 and above.
Shelf life & Storage
The shelf life of our products are between 1-2 years depending on the type of product. Best before end date (BBE) are stated on our products and we recommend products are to be used by the indicated date for maximum efficacy.
For best results, use the product within 6 months of opening.
Our products are made with botanical ingredients that are heat and light sensitive. Please kindly keep your products in a cool, dry place and away from heat/light. You may choose to keep your products such as essences and skin tonics in the fridge if you prefer to use them cold.
Products that are prone to oxidation such as Vitamin C serums can be kept in the fridge to slow down the natural oxidation process of the ingredients.
Generally, there's no harm in keeping skincare products in the fridge. It's a personal choice. Most importantly is to keep ALL your skincare products away from the heat and sunlight as it will damage them and affect the products' efficacy. So keep them in a cool and dark place.
Shipiping, Payment, Returns & Refunds
We do not offer self-collection. Orders are shipped out by courier delivery. Kindly take note that there is a minimum order of $20 for all customers.
We currently only ship within Singapore. Free door to door courier delivery over $70. A shipping fee of $1.50 applies for orders below $70.
All orders are shipped within 3 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed on Monday through Thursday by 5:00pm SGT will be processed on the same day and shipped within 3 business days. Please note that we do not ship on weekends and public holidays. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and public holidays will be processed on the next working day upon payment confirmation and shipped within 3 business days.
Trackable registered/courier shipping will take between 2-3 business working days to reach the recipient address after package is picked up by courier.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, PayPal, bank transfer and PayNow.
For payment by bank transfer, please make payment to UOB 358-308-863-4. Please contact us with details on the fund transfer for us to begin processing your order.
For payment by PayNow, please key in our business UEN: 53263834D during payment.
Our policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Returns are also subjected for review.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
No refunds will be offered for used items. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
When an order includes free shipping, only the cost of the return shipping is handled by the customer.
We accept used packagings as we can reuse them to pack our orders. As long as they are in relatively good condition, you can send them back to us at: Balm Botanique, ARK@GAMBAS, 7 Gambas crescent, #09-35, Singapore 75708.
